Welcome to the world of Amnesia! The Amnesia experience
began in 1994 when owner Michael Mello began traveling the world. He found himself in Bali, Indonesia where he became
immersed into the Balinese culture, and was welcomed into a Balinese family. He learned both the Balinese and Indonesian
languages. He and his Balinese brother started Amnesia International. There are two retail locations: one in Ubud,
Bali which is staffed by Balinese locals, and one in San Luis Obispo, California, the staff of which represents a wide array
of cultural heritages. Every Thursday night, San Luis Obispo's world famous Farmers Market
attracts visitors from across the globe. Available attractions include live entertainment, a sampling of fine restaurants,
evening shopping, and, of course fresh organic fruits and vegetables. The atmosphere, made possible by this weekly gathering,
provides a great opportunity to visit Amnesia!

We offer a unique selection of items from Bali and Thailand, ranging from handicrafts to clothing and jewelry.
One must visit Amnesia to get the full experience. Upon entering, one feels an immense feeling of relaxation, rarely
found in a typical day. We look forward to seeing you at either location, and are working to
